Northrop to design wing aircraft for DARPA

Northrop Grumman will design an experimental supersonic flying wing aircraft for the Defense Advance Research Projects Agency. The plane will able to vary the sweep of its wing to maximize aerodynamic efficiency. The contract is worth $10.3 million.
