Central banks deny reports about possible taxpayer-financed rescue

The Federal Reserve, Bank of England and the European Central Bank are all discussing possible solutions to the ongoing global credit crisis. However, the Fed and BoE have both denied a report in the Financial Times that said they were considering a taxpayer-financed plan to shore up the mortgage-backed securities market.
