Florida county to sue water district over Kissimmee River plan

Orange County, Fla., home to the fast-growing city of Orlando, has earmarked $1 million to sue the South Florida Water Management District after water regulators blocked the county's attempt to draw down the headwaters of the Kissimmee River. The district says taking water from the Kissimmee could hurt an ongoing restoration project and damage other bodies of water further downstream.
