Fuel-efficient turboprops regain popularity

Turboprop regional aircraft are becoming more popular as airlines take steps to lower their fuel costs. Manufacturers Bombardier and ATR are boosting production of the planes. Fuel prices are now up to 70% higher than they were a year ago.
