N.J. gambles on solar with N. America's largest rooftop solar array

New Jersey's Atlantic City Convention Center took a gamble on alternative energy by installing North America's largest rooftop solar array. The building features 13,400 modules on the roof, and the solar panels should provide 25% of the convention center's energy. The panels provide 2.4 megawatts of energy at peak capacity and will save $4.4 million in energy costs over 20 years.
