Oberstar says airline ownership laws need tightening:

Rep. James Oberstar, D-Minn., told participants at an International Aviation Club event that the U.S. needs to tighten and clarify laws regarding ownership of domestic airlines for national security reasons. Oberstar, who chairs the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee, said restrictions about foreign ownership must be retained to ensure carriers can be used for the Civil Reserve Air Fleet.
