Ad, media players band together for World Water Week

The Tap Project, a UNICEF charity that helps to provide clean water around the world, seeks donations of $1 from restaurant diners who order tap water during World Water Week. The project has roots in the advertising and media world: The campaign was started by Droga5 founder David Droga, and a host of media companies and advertising agencies commit time, energy and media space to promoting the effort. This year, efforts are focusing on new media including text messages and an online radio station, TapProjectRadio.org.
