T-Mobile details HSPA+ launches, eyes 100-plus cities

T-Mobile USA said it would introduce its advanced wireless 3G service to more than 100 cities this year, boasting Tuesday that its HSPA+ network will be the speediest in the country in advance of Verizon Wireless' planned LTE deployments next year. "Pretty much half that footprint will be in place by midyear," said T-Mobile Senior Vice President Neville Ray. The carrier also debuted the first netbook designed to run on its upgraded HSPA 7.2 network, the Dell Inspiron Mini 10.
