Travelocity to launch Top Secret Hotel feature for opaque discounts

Travelocity is due to launch a feature this week that offers customers choices of so-called opaque hotel discounts, where the name of the hotel is not revealed until the reservation is booked, much like the business models for rivals Hotwire and Priceline. The new Top Secret Hotels feature has been in development for more than a year, and the service is based on the company's lastminute.com, offered in Europe.
