Walgreen plans customer-centric store makeovers

Walgreen plans to expand a successful test of store makeovers it calls customer-centric retailing. The company will add more offerings in several categories, including food and wine and consumer electronics at 2,500 to 3,000 stores; makeovers also include lower shelves and more prominent signage.
