Residents of Green Bay, Wis., and Honolulu are the most likely to have energy-saving appliances in their homes, according to a study from Scarborough Research. About 40% of households in those cities use green appliances, versus the 32% national average. "What you find is that makers across the country are adopting this [green] philosophy," says Scarborough Research Vice President Howard Goldberg. "It's not just the Californias and the markets you might expect."
