Utility seeks to acquire 50% stake in Colo. wind project

Utility company Black Hills wants to acquire a 50% interest in a 29-megawatt wind farm being developed in Pueblo, Colo., to help it meet Colorado's renewable-energy standard by 2020, according to documents filed with the state Public Utilities Commission. Black Hills' Colorado unit may also buy electricity and renewable-energy credits from EUI Development, which is a co-developer of the project, the utility said.
