Contract drug research in China is expanding

Contract research for the pharmaceutical industry in China reached $3.5 billion to $4.5 billion two years ago, according to a new report from Research and Markets. China should continue to grow as a market for contract research organizations as multinational firms look for venues with low costs, a skilled professional pool and a broad range of critical diseases and conditions to study.
