Eateries aim to capture tax-refund spending

Restaurants that are seeing slower business in the wake of higher payroll taxes and rising gas prices are hoping spring brings a boost as consumers start spending their tax refunds, said Technomic's Darren Tristano. Pizza and burger chains may be the biggest winners in the coming months, as consumers seek more value, he said.
