Unilever, Eurofins help develop allergen standards

Unilever and Eurofins are among the industry leaders participating in a study backed by the European Commission, which will lead to new standards and processes for food allergen management. "This is a massive research project which will have far-reaching consequences for consumers and food producers," said Clare Mills, the University of Manchester professor who is leading the effort.
