Economists say the "Wal-Martization" of the U.S. economy may be coming to an end, and as a result, the flood of low prices and rebate offers may soon reverse course. "Wal-Martization" is a process that extracts lower prices from suppliers who remain profitable through productivity gains instead of price increases. Some analysts recommend clients raise prices now before inflation picks up.
