Blogs still too "out there" for some marketers

The market for blog advertising is growing, but some marketers are discovering that the unedited, free-for-all medium might not be the best forum in which to display their brands. For example, Cendant's Cheaptickets.com withdrew its sponsorship of the Gawker Media travel blog, Gridskipper.com, following the appearance of some racy entries on the site, including one describing a psychedelically enhanced tour of the Van Gogh museum in Amsterdam.
