Concrete exhibit highlights past, future uses

An exhibit at the National Building Museum, "Liquid Stone: New Architecture in Concrete," illustrates how concrete has evolved over the years and continues to change. The exhibit highlights architects and engineers who have played an important role in redefining concrete's uses, and looks at more recent and potential future innovations, including translucent, self-reinforcing and self-consolidating concretes.
