Report: Combination therapy more effective for diabetics

A report shows that a combination of simvastatin and fenofibrate works better than either drug alone at normalizing lipid levels in Type 2 diabetes patients who do not have coronary heart disease. "Aggressive treatment of this mixed dyslipidemia may be very important in saving the lives of our diabetic patients," a researcher said.
