Third-graders tackle personal finance

A group of Virginia third-graders received hands-on personal finance experience at The Kids Marketplace, which is offered by the Virginia Cooperative Extension to help elementary school students understand how to live within the confines of a "real-word" salary. "I think it will help them see just a little bit of what their parents go through," said third-grade teacher Kim Branham.
