How Nissan is playing the online viral ad game

Nissan generated considerable buzz with a low-budget viral and interactive ad campaign for its Rogue, said Kristi Vandenbosch, president of Nissan ad agency Tequila USA. The campaign in four weeks generated more than 200,000 views on YouTube for two clips. The query "2008 Nissan Rogue" reached the seventh search spot on Yahoo! in October. And a related game tallied more than 335,000 plays on the NissanUSA.com site.
