Malnutrition levels are dropping but children continue to perish in Kenya's refugee camps in part due to an endemic mistrust of modern medicine among parents, Peter Smerdon of the World Food Programme writes in the Toronto Star. Around a quarter of a million people are dependent on aid given in the camps, with millions more in Kenya facing food insecurity.
