Public-private coalition outlines quality health reforms

Stand for Quality, a public-private coalition led by 15 organizations and representing more than 165 groups, has outlined a quality-improvement framework for health care reform. The recommendations include developing national priorities, endorsing national standards, giving stakeholders a role in policy development, collecting performance information and backing a sustainable quality-improvement infrastructure.
