U.N. plans special report on disasters from climate change

About 100 scientists meeting in Oslo plan to release a special report for the United Nations on how to fight climate-change disasters. Global warming can cause a variety of natural disasters including mudslides, storms, floods and droughts. Ellen Hambro, head of the Norwegian Pollution Control Authority, said the study "will be a guide for how we can get going with practical measures in countries vulnerable to climate change."
