Allstate creates portal to garner input from media partners

Allstate is asking major media properties to share insights on a range of marketing issues, including media buying, product design, digital tactics and consumer outreach, via a new Web site. AllstateIdeaPortal.com was launched Wednesday in New York during a presentation featuring top Allstate managers and the insurer's spokesman, actor Dennis Haysbert and representatives from its agencies, Publicis Groupe's Leo Burnett and Starcom, and about 200 media executives.
