CMS awards EHR matching funds to 6 more states

CMS announced Thursday that it will provide Colorado and five other states with federal matching funds to help them administer incentive payments for electronic health records adoption. Colorado will use the funds to conduct a comprehensive study about the current status of in-state health IT activities, among other planning tasks.
