Emerging-market bond funds enjoy a flood of inflows

During the past week, about $1.05 billion flowed into emerging-market bond funds, the second-biggest inflows on record, according to EPFR Global. "Investors remain undaunted by the huge volume of debt issued by both corporate and sovereign borrowers or the uncertainty spawned by Greece's fiscal problems," EPFR said. This year, investors have bought nearly $32 billion in bonds sold by Indonesia, Turkey, Mexico and other developing nations.
