Fed's Hoenig supports "Volcker rule"

Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City President Thomas Hoenig said some form of the "Volcker rule," which would curb proprietary trading at major financial firms, should be included in regulatory reform. "Adopting a version of the proposed Volcker rule would be healthy for long-term stability," Mr. Hoenig said. "We have seen the formation of a powerful group of financial firms."
