Pentagon considers replacement of aging Air Force One aircraft

The Pentagon says it is considering purchasing a new fleet of presidential aircraft. The current Air Force One fleet of planes, including two highly customized Boeing 747-200B series aircraft, is aging. Officials say that with fewer than 20 of the models still in service, the value of operating them could soon exceed the value of the planes.
