Brands heighten franchising aid for hoteliers

Hotel brands are taking steps to boost support for franchisees, be it offering financial aid or providing backing to secure loans, franchising executives said at the Hunter Hotel Investment Conference. "We hold their hand, we walk them through the process, and certainly help in any way we can," said Doug Collins, CEO of Americas Best Franchising. Brands also offer aid in other areas, such as improving distribution and helping with social media efforts, they said.
