More homeowners putting routers in living rooms, study says

The living room is displacing the home office as the location for network routers, according to a study by The Diffusion Group. The market research firm reports that 80% of broadband households in the U.S. use home routers, with 38% of them last year placing the router in the living room, compared with 18% choosing the home office.
