DISH Network urges FCC to consider spectrum access in Clearwire bid

DISH Network appears to be pursuing a new strategy in dealing with federal regulators over Sprint Nextel's bid to acquire Clearwire and its valuable wireless spectrum. While DISH still hopes its own bid for Clearwire wins out, the company is urging Federal Communications Commission members to guarantee that it will have access to those frequencies if the deal is approved.
