Hearing parental arguments can affect child's brain development

Researchers looked at the functional MRI brain scans of 20 babies and found that those exposed to high levels of conflict at their homes showed a greater reaction to a very angry tone of voice in areas of the brain linked to the regulation of stress and emotions. The study will be published in the journal Psychological Science.
