Home-sales "pre-listing" sites take hold in high-demand markets

Competitive markets where condos and houses get bought up about as soon as they open to the public have created a wave of websites that "pre-list" homes before they are up for sale, sometimes via tips from homeowners associations. Real estate agents are using the sites to help clients, although some argue the sites' private nature doesn't allow everyone to get an equal chance and may drive down sale prices because of less competition.
