Kantar: Ad spending rises for fourth year in a row

Advertising expenditures increased for the fourth consecutive year in 2013, rising 0.9% over 2012, according to a Kantar Media report. Large and midsized companies accounted for 78% of ad spending, led by Procter & Gamble, General Motors and AT&T. Spending by small advertisers was down more than 6% for the year.
