Economists: Fed should consider weak business investing

Economists say that the Federal Reserve may need to rethink its outlook for economic growth and take a deeper look into the slowdown in business investment, which could have a chain reaction. "The weakness in capital spending is alarming," said Joseph LaVorgna, chief U.S. economist at Deutsche Bank Securities. "If capital spending is weak and getting weaker, the next thing companies will do is slow hiring."
