Aerospace execs urge Senate to speed NextGen implementation

A top executive from Honeywell Aerospace told a Senate panel on Wednesday that a 16-year time frame to roll out the NextGen air traffic control system was "simply unacceptable," and that "improvements are needed today." Senate Commerce Committee Chairman Jay Rockefeller, D-W.Va., appeared to agree. "I'm just losing patience," he said. "I'm sick of it."
