Calif. doctor group deploys Axolotl's virtual health record platform

The Physicians Medical Group of Santa Cruz County is using technology from Axolotl that will allow its members to electronically find, access and evaluate patient charts assembled using information from medication histories, radiology reports and other sources. The Elysium Virtual Health Record features a locator service to prevent the mixing of data from various health care systems and allows clinicians to make "quality decisions in a timely manner," PMG's chief executive said.
