Judge skeptical of early release of 9/11 documents

A federal judge said Wednesday he is not inclined to release almost 1 million pages of 9/11-related information that was collected under a promise of confidentiality. A lawyer representing airlines and security companies argued that the documents should be not be released until trial, as originally agreed. U.S. District Judge Alvin Hellerstein agreed that an early release would likely slow the three remaining civil trials resulting from the terrorist attacks.
