Solar panels on Taiwan stadium to generate most of facility's power

Solar energy panels could allow a stadium under construction in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, to generate nearly all of the electricity it needs. The Main Stadium, which the city will use when it hosts the 2009 World Games, is the first green stadium in the history of the games. The design is likely to influence Western architects who design closed stadiums without solar panels, observers note.
