Analyst: Some challenges are ahead for chip market

The global chip industry demand will push revenue ahead 16% this year, according to research firm IDC. But the rosy picture could be tarnished a bit by near year's end as stimulus projects end and if unemployment remains high. "When you look at the semiconductor market, we are definitely in a full recovery mode," said Mario Morales, IDC's chief chip researcher.
