Calif. program to train teachers about educating students with autism

California's Ventura County Office of Education plans to launch a teacher-training program to get more educators qualified to teach students with autism. It's a response to new state rules that provide more flexibility for teaching students with autism. Under the program, scheduled to start in May, teachers will get credit for past courses to help them get their training done within the required two years.
