Florida lawmakers move forward with education reforms

Florida lawmakers are moving forward with several bills that could dramatically change the state's education system. One bill, which passed in the Senate, will leave it up to Florida voters whether to keep a constitutional amendment capping class sizes. The other, which has passed the Senate and is working its way through the House, will require teachers to be paid based on student achievement. Many parents and educators are opposed to the measure.
