US Airways seeks to increase ad revenue

US Airways has joined other major hub-and-spoke carriers in selling ads on passenger boarding passes. Travelers who check in via the Internet -- just over one-third of all passengers -- will see the ads. The airline did not disclose revenue projections but said it hopes the program will generate up to 40% more than tray-table advertising.
