RadioShack geo-targets mobile users carrying old contracts

RadioShack is using the Verve Wireless network for location-based ads to target users of old cellphones and those with expiring contracts, encouraging recipients to stop by their closest RadioShack for an upgrade. Mobile accounts for 40% of RadioShack sales, according to Mindshare Chicago's Elizabeth Elliott.
