Aon Hewitt survey shows trend toward using wellness penalties

An Aon Hewitt survey of almost 800 employers found that 58% plan over the next three to five years to start penalizing employees who do not take action to improve their health. Data from the 2013 Health Care Survey showed about 24% of companies offer incentives for working on or achieving specific health goals while more than 66% are considering outcomes-based incentives.
