FASB gives answers on expected credit loss proposal

The Financial Accounting Standards Board on Monday released a 16-page document that describes some of the technical aspects of its expected credit loss proposal in the financial instruments project. The project has posed significant challenges as FASB and the International Accounting Standards Board have pursued differing proposals.
