Growers race to produce the hottest chili pepper

Chili pepper growers from the U.S. to Australia are in a heated competition to create the world's hottest pepper using techniques that include specially enriched soil. The current record holder, the Trinidad Scorpion Butch T, boasts 1.464 million Scoville units, about 225 times the amount of the everyday jalapeno.
