Minn. restaurant group objects to minimum wage bill

A bill to raise the minimum wage for workers in Minnesota without a separate tier for tipped workers may force many restaurants to raise prices, cut hours and postpone improvements, according to Minnesota Restaurant Association President J.J. Haywood, who said food servers already average $18 per hour with tips.
