Senators urge energy drink companies to stop marketing to youths

In letters sent on Monday to top officials at Monster, Red Bull and Rockstar, Sens. Dick Durbin, D-Ill., and Richard Blumenthal, D-Conn., urged them to cease marketing energy drinks to children. A spokesman for Red Bull said the company complies with guidelines to avoid marketing energy drinks to children and that its energy drink carries a label that it's not intended for use by children.
